FUNDRAISING QUIZ

Thanks to all who turned out for our Fundraising Quiz last Friday night, especially as it was during half term. It was also good to see some new parents supporting the club too. We raised £100 for Millwall RFC in the process. Thanks to our social guru Kerry for not only organising it, but playing the role of quiz-master so well.

TRAINING ATTENDANCE

I've been asked to send out a special message of thanks from the team managers and coaches to the players who turned up to training this week - especially as you've all just gone back to school! Well done and lets see you all come to Sunday training as well!

KIDS GO FREE @ SARACENS

Saracens are offering a great deal for their match against Bath on Sunday 3rd of April:

4 kids* tickets for FREE with every adult ticket purchased (£15) - that’s 5 tickets for just £3 each!

If you want to take advantage of this superb deal, you need to buy your tickets (money up front) by Wed 16th March. See Matt to get your tickets now!

*kids means anyone aged 15 and under.

ALL FOR THE PARENTS

We have two special parents events planned, just for you:

1. Parents Wine & Cheese Social Night (Friday 25th of March)

Champagne on arrival, canapés during the evening, plus a special selection of cheeses available for all parents of children in the Millwall Lions youth section. Come on down to the clubhouse from 7pm and let your hair down!

Please RSVP by Wed 23rd of March so we can cater accordingly.

And if Friday nights aren’t your thing…

2. Parents Lunch & Volunteering Information Day (Sunday 10th of April)

We'll have a light lunch on for parents of Millwall Lions players as well as providing information to you about volunteering with Millwall Rugby Club. You'll have the opportunity to talk to the current volunteers, find out what they do and also what they get out of helping run Millwall Rugby Club. You can also sign up for fully-funded places on either RFU Coaching or refereeing courses.

If nothing else, you won't have to worry about preparing that Sunday lunch for the family!

Please RSVP by Wednesday 7th April so we can cater accordingly.

It is our ambition to have a youth section that is well supported by the parents of our players, so please make an effort to come down so we can get to know you!

There are two matches at home this Saturday, so come on down and support the senior players:

Vicky Park - Millwall 1st XV vs Brightlingsea, featuring former Millwall Lion Jack Rowland

Millwall Park - Millwall 2nd XV (the "Llamas") vs Eton Manor, featuring former Millwall Lions Jake Vinnicombe and Michael 'Tank' Delastie…and Youth Chair, Matt Shorrock.

Kick off for both games is at 2pm
