SCHOOLS PILOT

With help from RFU Community Coach Dean Cutting, we will shortly be
conducting coaching in two secondary schools and two of their feeder
primary schools in Tower Hamlets.

The schools are Cubitt Town, George Greens, Bishop Challener and St Mary &
St Michaels.

If the sessions prove to be successful in recruiting players to Millwall
Lions, we will look to expand these in the future.

FUNDRAISING QUIZ

To help the club in raising some much needed funds, we are holding a
fundraising quiz in the Clubhouse on Friday 25th February, starting at
19:00pm.

Bring the kids along and let's have a laugh!

Also dont forget that we are still selling RFU Grand Draw tickets and the
club keeps 90% of the sales - this is a great easy fundraiser for the club!
So see your coach or team manager to buy yours now! First prize is 10,000
cash and there are 40 other great prizes.

Tickets are 5 for a book of 5.

STRATEGY WORKSHOP

The Youth Committee are having a strategy workshop this Sunday afternoon to
come up with future plans for the youth section and the services we offer
to the community.

We will be focusing on the issues that are holding us back and coming up
with ways to solve them. In the second part of the session, we will be
brainstorming where we want the youth section to be in 2-5 years time.

This is a closed session for youth committee members, but if you have any
ideas to feed into the day, please send them to
youthchair@millwallrugby.com or let your Team Manager know ASAP!

UPCOMING FIXTURES

30th January - Under 15s away to Bexley
13th February - Under 15s away to Hackney
20th February - Under 12s away to Dagenham
6th March - Under 12s home to Shoreditch

All Millwall Lions home games are played on Millwall Park, with kick off
usually at 11am. We require lots of vocal and enthusiastic supporters to
come down and cheer on our young players - they are, after all, the future
of Millwall Rugby Club.

Let's go to work!
